■基本用法

现在完成时由“have / has +过去分词”构成。其用法主要有以下三种：

①“已完成”用法：也叫影响性用法，它表示一个过去发生的动作在过去已经完成，并且这个过去发生并完成的动作对现在造成影响或结果，同时说话者强调的或感兴趣的就是这个影响或结果。如：

I’m sorry. I’ve forgotten your name. 对不起，我忘记你的名字了。

They have made great advances in the past few years. 在过去几年他们取得很大进展。

Now that we have decorated the house, we can move in. 现在我们把房间装饰好了，我们可以搬进去了。

②“未完成”用法：也叫持续性用法，它表示一个过去发生的动作并未在过去完成，而是一直持续到现在，并且有可能继续持续下去(也可能到此结束)。如：

He has taught in this school for 20 years. 所学校已任教20年。

She’s lived in Italy for some time, so she speaks Italian quite well. 她在意大利已经住了相当长时间，因此她意大利语讲得很好。

③反复性用法：即表示反复性和习惯性动作，这种用法的现在完成时常与表示频度的副词连用。如：

I’ve watched him on TV several times. 我在电视里看见他好几次了。

I’ve often wondered why I get such a poor reception on my radio. 我常感到纳闷，为什么我的收音机的接收情况这么差。

■通常连用的状语

通常连用现在完成时的副词有just(刚刚), already(已经), ever(曾经), before(以前), recently(最近)等，尤其是 since(自从), so far(到目前为止), up to now(到目前为止), in the last (past) five years(在过去5年中), it’s the first time that…(第一次……)等结构，习惯上要用现在完成时。如：

We’ve been friends ever since we met at school. 自从我们在学校遇见以来一直是朋友。

He says that is my best work so far. 他说这是到现在为止我最好的作品。

This is the first time I have heard of it. 这是我第一次听到有这事。

We’ve planted thousands of trees in the past few years. 过去几年我们种了成千上万棵树。

■have been to与have gone to

前者表示“去过某地”，可以与次数连用；后者表示“到某地去了”(强调现在不在这里)，通常不与次数连用。如：

I have been to Japan three times. 我去过日本三次。

The Smiths have gone to Canada for a holiday. 史密斯全家都到加拿大度假去了。

但have gone to后接学校时则可意谓“上过学”。如：

I’m the only one who’s gone to a public high school. 我是唯一上过公立中学的人。

另外，两者均可和不定式连用，但意思不同。如：

He has never been to see me since I have been ill. 我生病以来他从未来看过我。

They’ve gone to live overseas. 他们到海外居住了。

■when与since when

when习惯上不与现在完成时连用，但since when则通常要与现在完成时连用。如：

When do you have breakfast? 你什么时候吃早饭?

When did you arrive in Europe? 你什么时候抵达欧洲的？

Since when have you lived here? 你从什么时候起住在这里的?

Since when have you became active? 你什么时候开始变得积极了?

注：两者均可引导定语从句，但since when依然通常与现在完成时连用。如：

We’ll put off the picnic until next week, when the weather may be better. 我们将把野餐推迟到下星期，那时天气可能会好一点。

They left on Monday, since when we have heard nothing. 他们是星期一走的，从那以后我们就没听到什么消息了。
